The Gainesville Cycling Festival's Santa Fe Century takes place on October 12, 2024 at our local Northwest Boys & Girls Club here in Alachua County. This route showcases scenic rural roads north of Gainesville with proceeds from the event benefiting our Alachua Boys & Girls Clubs.
The Santa Fe Century is one of two century rides (100-mile bike ride) in the Gainesville Cycling Festival. In addition to the weekend’s variety of ride options, the amenities offer a unique experience for riders through rest stops, food options, and the support services of the Bike SAG wagon for riders who may need assistance along the route.
In addition to fundraising for the Boys & Girls Club, net proceeds from the festival augment club dues and promotion of this years event.

In Support of Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida
Our Boys & Girls Clubs provide a safe place, caring adult mentors, fun and friendship, and high-impact youth development programs during critical non-school hours and during the summer. Club programs promote five core areas: character and leadership, education and workforce readiness, the arts, health and wellness, and sports and recreation. In a Harris Survey of Boys & Girls Clubs alumni, 57 percent said the Club saved their lives.
